Gus came to us as a high-energy young dog whose excitement made it hard for someone to get to know him. However at a Saturday PetsMart Adoption Clinic, a little boy looking for a small puppy came across Gus and decided that Gus was the one. His mom reminded him that they were looking for a smaller dog, but the boy was adamant that Gus was his dog. After we took Gus out of his kennel so that him and the little boy could better acquainted, it was evident that they were indeed meant to be friends. The little boy's mom changed her mind about the size and Gus went home with his new family.

Sammy came to us as a Special Needs animal. He had suffered a gunshot wound and had to have his front leg amputated. However, this did not keep him down for long. As you can see, Sammy charmed his way into this wonderful family's heart. They took him home, helped him heal, and made Sammy whole again.
